Toddler Dies After Drinking Weedkiller

Pailin: At 11:30 am, April 11, 2020, a tragic accident occurred when a young boy died after taking a bottle of weedkiller in his home in Konbaung village, Sala Krao district, Pailin province.
The victim was a very young boy aged 18-months-old, and the parents were devastated. The Sala district police inspector in cooperation with the forensic experts from the Office of the Provincial Police and Provincial Health Departments conducted an autopsy and concluded that the victim had actually died from drinking the bottle of herbicide (by himself) causing his death.
The body is now being handed over to relatives for a traditional funeral.RIP.
Parents are reminded to keep all herbicides, pesticides, and other dangerous products, out of the reach of children.
