Chinese Gang Arrested in Sihanoukville with Mixed Drug Selection For Sale

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On the night of October 11, 2021, the anti-drug law enforcement of Sihanoukville arrested ZHANG HONG YOU, a 53-year-old Chinese drug dealer who lives in village 4, Sangkat 3, behind Houy Hor casino. The authorities seized 26 sachets of an illegal white crystal substance, 11 sachets of a white powder substance, a sachet of the Ecstasy powder (MDMA), 4 bottles of liquid ecstasy, 3 bags of methamphetamine, and 2 smartphones.


This case led to the arrest, at 11:50 pm on the same day, of two more Chinese drugs dealers, a 36-year-old man, CHEN JING HUAI, and a 29-year-old man, CHEN GUO FENG, who both lived in a rented house in village 3, Sangkat 4 .The authorities found 5 sachets of drugs, a suspected bag of dried plants, 12 sachets of an illegal white crystal substance, 13 sachets of Methamphetamine, 2 bottles of liquid Ecstasy, 2 sachets of Ecstasy powder, 2 scales, a smartphone.


The next day, at 2:00 pm on October 12, the case led to another drug dealer, a 51-year-old Chinese man, LU JIAN MIN, from village 1, Sangkat 2 with 7 sachets of illegal substances, and 2 smartphones.


All four suspects and the evidence are being held in custody for further investigation.
