1 Nigerian and 2 Vietnamese Arrested in Phnom Penh Raid

Cambodia News, Phnom Penh: Lieutenant Colonel Sim Piseth, deputy police chief of Boeung Keng Kang district, confirmed that on February 26, 2020 at 7:30 pm, three suspects were arrested in a police raid on a rented room in Boeung Keng Kang I, Phnom Penh. The three were sought for online crimes.
The suspects :
1 / Frank Ikenna Otujieme Male, age 30, Nigerian, passport number A09220167.

2. Trannam Phong, male, 39 years old, Vietnamese Nationality, passport number C5799419.

3. Ngo Thi An, 29 years old, Vietnamese Nationality Passport C4786955.

Captured exhibits include:
- 4 phones
- 2 passports (Vietnam, Nigeria)
- One Vietnamese national ID card
- Metal ring: 3-tone pale yellow element
- 1 female watch
- Two laptops
- 1 suitcase
- 8 bank cards and some SIM cards.

The three suspects have now been referred to the Ministry of Interior's Criminal Division for further legal action.

What exactly is online crimes?
Like nigeria scam by which they send emails to numerous accounts and hopefully for some victims to reply them?

It doesn't really clarify their modus operandi.

It could be the 418 scam.. Or the pretty lady romance scam complete with sick buffalo. Or the lottery prize win scam. Or the 'goods are yours' if you wing me the small transport fee. Could even be the missed call scam which is quite popular and in the news.

Either way, they get their free haircuts and rent free nice warm bunks

Yeah, they didn't say which online crime. Maybe one of those Nigerian scam and love scam.
