Foreign Man Injured in Wat Phnom Camera Snatch

Cambodia News, Phnom Penh: A foreign couple, who were sight-seeing at Phnom Penh's Wat Phnom, were attacked in broad daylight on 15 February while they were taking holiday snaps.
Two men on a motorbike drove up to the man, who was taking pictures with the camera strap around his neck, and attempted to snatch the camera and drive off. The tourist was pulled to the ground in the attack, lightly injuring himself. The local police came to the scene and evacuated the man by ambulance to Calmette Hospital.
Let's hope that the unfortunate victim has fully recovered by now.
