Two Pythons Resting Get Removed

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): To his shock and surprise, a 28-year-old man, Dy Sean, found two pythons, 1male and 1 female, in his house in Anlong Vel village, Battambang.

The two pythons, weighing a total of 23kgs, were taken away to the Sangke Royal Gendarmerie, where the commander ordered that the snakes be taken to Sangke forestry administration for release into the wild.

There are loads of pythons around the city. Maybe not too many in Daun Penh but plenty in the outlying districts. My kid used to stay at his grandparent's house a lot. It's by a lake/swamp. He was complaining that it was hot there so I got one of those powerful floor fans. Then he said it got even hotter and I was wondering why. They couldn't even leave the door open anymore because this four meter python kept trying to slither in to the bedroom and likely strangle him to death. The good ending to this story was that one of my kid's three dogs managed to kill the snake a while later.
