Wing Thieves Caught on CCTV are Sought by Police

Cambodia News, Battambang: On June 1, 2020, at a Wing money changer spot in the market in Sangke district, two thieves robbed more than $ 10,000 and some jewelry from the victim, Yoeung Kosal, a 48-year-old female, and fled.
According to the images captured on the security camera, the thieves who stole the money are not known to the shop owner or local police, and it is suspected that they came from another province to carry out the robbery.

The victim told police that the two suspects arrived at her shop and were looking around to buy something, when one of them called her outside to ask her about items there. While she was chatting and explaining to the one customer outside, the other person sneaked inside the stall behind the counter with a black bag, and stole 20 million Khmer riel, US $ 7,000, a gold bracelet for $ 150, a ring for $ 100, a cell phone, 1 Sony brand, 1 credit card and national ID cards 4, and 2 Wing cards.

The two suspects then escaped and are currently being sought by Battambang provincial police.
