Motorbike Robber Gets Badly Beaten in Phnom Penh
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On January 12, 2020, at 11 pm, one of a gang of three motorbike robbers was badly beaten up before he was arrested by police at Sangkat Psar Kandal, Phnom Penh.
The victim who was a motodop driver said that before the incident he took one of the suspects as a passenger from Beung Trobek area. Then the other two suspects rode up on a motorbike carrying a sword. They threatened to attack him, so the victim ran away from his bike and asked the local people for help. But when he came back to the scene, he realized that his motorbike had been stolen and the robbers had escaped.
So he went to the police station and filed a complaint. The police searched for the suspects and arrested one of them who got badly hurt when he tried to escape. The suspect was sent to the police station for questioning and the authorities are searching for the other two robbers.
