Taiwanese Man Accused of Filming Ex-Girlfriend During Sex

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On March 17, 2022, Gu Xulin, a 61-year-old Taiwanese man, was detained for filming and distributing a tape of him and his ex-girlfriend having sex, without her knowledge or consent.

The suspect operates a garage on 1003 Street in Okhna Vang village, Sangkat Phnom Penh Thmey, Khan Sen Sok, where he was arrested.The victim worked for the suspect as an accountant and translator since 2016. During that period, they fell in love and slept together at the office in a room where the suspect had set up a hidden camera to film their action.

The woman is upset, because she has broken up with the suspect and is now engaged to another man, so the video is a smear on her reputation.If proven guilty, the suspect could face 2 to 4 years in prison with a fine of 10 million riels.
