Chinese Renter Sued for Fire Damage

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: Two Chinese men were arrested after a fire started and damaged 3 houses on Monivong Boulevard, Boeung Kang II district, in Phnom Penh on 5 January 2020. The fire was reportedly caused by someone leaving a kitchen gas cooker unattended.
Three homeowners, who had their property damaged by the fire, have filed an official complaint at Boeung Kang II Station demanding compensation of nearly US$ 50,000, from ZHAO JI KUI the Chinese national who was renting the property.
