Phnom Penh; Cambodia Breaking News: On January 3, 2020, a ladyboy thief went to steal from an apartment on Street 19, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh. The victim of the robbery was a 48-year-old Australian expat.
The suspect, Oeun Mao, a 22-year-old Cambodian ladyboy of an uncertain occupation, was arrested for stealing a Samsung tablet from the victim's apartment. The door had been left unlocked as the Australian man was expecting visitors, but instead of his friends, he saw a ladyboy thief running out of his flat with his Samsung tablet. He chased him out the door and into the street where a police patrol intervened and caught the suspect red-handed.

The police have detained the suspect and returned the stolen property to the Australian man.

That was a lucky escape for the victim, and he will not forget to lock the door next time.

Are you talking about the Victim or the alleged perpetrator?

Hmm... even assuming all that is true:

1. expecting visitors:
2. leaving door unlocked (why? can't they just knock?);
3. ladyboy discovers an unlocked door;
4. ladyboy happens to be a thief;
5. ladyboy is half dressed for an unexplained reason;
5. ladyboy enters apartment and steals tablet;
6. ladyboy gets spotted, a chase ensues and, miracles of miracles, a passing police patrol makes the arrest.

WHY oh WHY would you permit yourself to be photographed in those set of circumstances?

If posing for a photo is a requirement for 'justice' in this country, I won't even bother reporting a crime. Fuck that...

I have often wondered the same thing. Pattaya news is filled with men drugged by the ladyboy and robbed, then getting their photo taken when she is caught. One victim was an Iranian, from a nation that hangs those convicted of homosexuality, I know men that prefer ladyboys state they are not gay but why open your sex life up for public discourse when the consequences can be quite severe?
