so u took it from the same site we are not allowed to reference? LOL
I suppose the competent authorities reaction will again be to 'immediately' have construction project inspections in place in ... Kep. Just like after the building collapse in Sihanoukville, where a few projects were forced to at least temporarily shut down. But, in Sihanoukville only.
Large, countrywide inspections and controls will probably only happen after a multi-story building in Phnom Penh collapses.
Oh well, won't be too long...

UPDATE: Thirteen victims are reported to have been rescued from the rubble of a collapsed building in Kep province.
The seven-story building near the pagoda in Kep collapsed at around 4:30 pm on January 3, 2020. About 90 percent of the building was claimed to be complete when the structure collapsed as workers were pouring the concrete for the seventh floor. According to the Kep provincial police chief, there were about 30 workers in the building site at the time of the accident.
At the present time, authorities and law enforcement are doing their utmost to rescue the surviving victims. Sun Kun Kim, first vice president of the National Disaster Management Authority, is on the scene to direct the rescue operation, and about 35 rescue workers of Unit 711 of the 70th Brigade Command have been dispatched to the disaster to launch a rescue operation.

Two buildings collapse in the same country in such a short period of time. Hard to understand. Like the 737 max there must be a failure in the software.

Bad as they seemed, I don't remember any buildings collapsing in the good old days of locally-made constructions. Many of the large developments around the country are being built by Chinese firms and crews, but then there are these smaller ones that seem to be jerry-built by idiots who know nothing about what they or doing or just think they can save loads of money by doing things their own way. Hopefully the competent authorities will form a task force to deal with this effectively.
