Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): Please be informed that the NEC Spokesperson has declared that the provisional voter turnout was 7,912,081 people, equal to 81.48% of those who are on the voter list, while the NEC will be announcing the provisional election results starting from the evening of July 23, 2023.
Dim Sovannarom, a member and chairman of the NEC Information Reaction Team, confirmed to local media that after the polls closed this afternoon, at 15:30 pm on July 23, 2023, the turnout was 7,912,081, or 81.48 percent of the registered voters.

Do they dip their fingers in ink in order to place their choice on the ballot paper, or is it just to show that they have taken part in the election? If it's needed to imprint ther choice next to the right candidate, how is that free and fair when everyone can see who you voted for?

So they are going to take legal action against 300,000 citizens?In comments shared on social media later on Sunday, HE said they were waiting to see how many ballots were spoiled. “Any ballot that is destroyed [is a sign of] support for the CDL [the Candlelight party],” he said. “Those who show the ballots being destroyed can confess with the authorities […] because this movement of destroying the ballots shall face legal action,” he said.
