Two Young Women Arrested in Toul Kork Gambling Den

Cambodia News, Phnom Penh: On December 23, 2019, at approximately 13:10 am, the Criminal Police Force from Boeung Kak II Station of the Toul Kork Police Inspectorate, cooperated with Sam Oeun, Deputy Governor of Toul Kork District, under the supervision of Rith Sophan, Deputy Prosecutor of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court, to raid an illegal gambling den on St 586 in Toul Kork district.
The two suspects arrested for running the gambling business were two young women, aged 18 and 24, Roth Sovann Aliza and Horn Srey Peou.
Exhibits confiscated by the authorities include:
- 15 monitors, 14 CPUs, 14 keyboard keys, 14 macros, one security camera head, one copy of Sim Bun Lay's business authorization certificate, one calculator and some betting files.
Currently: The above suspects are temporarily detained at the Toul Kork Police Inspectorate for questioning and legal action.
