Govt to install surveillance quipment
OK, in keeping with the spirit of Christmas Insanity Claws will know who's naughty and nice. From today's Cambodia Daily-https://www.cambodiadaily.com/news/govt ... ent-73911/
But of course there is no reason for unreasonable fear since "Lt. Gen. Sinarith said that once the equipment is installed, only a court order could authorize its use." Reminiscent of the Khmer Rouge saying that it was like a pineapple, it "had eyes everywhere."

Re: Govt to install surveillance quipment
I doubt these cack handed fools can do this "by self" and are getting help from a certain Uncle with a top hat and stripy trousers.

Re: Govt to install surveillance quipment
Kurenko.......you should be worried. They are doing that already for AT LEAST 5 years (with the help of big brother and some NGOs).........and forget about this court order thing....it's still Cambodia.
Also have a look at this
http://link.springer.com/article/10.118 ... -47#page-1
they are using this technology also for years now.
You have such a thing at home ?
"They" like to hide certain technology inside the sockets !!!!!!! (esp. if sockets are transparent)
Ohh yes, a little extra information. Many flats esp. if located downtown around Wat Ounaloum, Kings Palace.........which are exclusively rented to foreigners have spying equipment PREINSTALLED. I know a landlord in this area which owns dozends of flats and he made a contract with a certain NGO. This way he makes some extra bucks per month. The NGO is also paying guest houses so that they can install hidden cameras.

Und der Haifisch der hat Tränen
Und die laufen vom Gesicht
Doch der Haifisch lebt im Wasser
So die Tränen sieht man nicht
In der Tiefe ist es einsam
Und so manche Träne fliesst
Und so kommt es dass das Wasser
In den Meeren salzig ist
Und die laufen vom Gesicht
Doch der Haifisch lebt im Wasser
So die Tränen sieht man nicht
In der Tiefe ist es einsam
Und so manche Träne fliesst
Und so kommt es dass das Wasser

don't worry about it.
don't worry about it.
Re: Govt to install surveillance quipment
As I have said......Cambodians do not install this kind of equipment, but somebody else. Cambodians just get paid off for allowing it to happen.

It is being done by Koreans, Chinese, Vietnamese and Americans who DO know what they are doing. And for the record, I have met several Khmers who could easily do it, it's not rocket-science nowadays.frank lee bent wrote:those cnuts couldn't find their ass with both hands in the dark without major help

Worry about it.
On the other hand, if anyone is a paedo, I fucking hope they fry them.

Francis, I was obviously speaking tongue in cheek. I agree with Vlad, it is an issue of concern and clearly one of many steps backward for democracy hereand forget about this court order thing....it's still Cambodia.
