Driver Hits Road Divider While Overtaking in a Hurry

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On the evening of December 8, 2019, at 9:30 pm, an unidentified man, aged about 30-40 years old, smashed his car into a road divider in Russian Federation boulevard, Khan Porsenchey, Phnom Penh. The man was attempting to overtake another car and he had not noticed the road divider in his path.
The vehicle hit the road divider front on, and then overturned, injuring the driver, who was taken to hospital for treatment.

The police were sent to check the accident and they took the damaged car away to keep at the police station following the legal procedure.

Too bad (if) he was wearing a seat belt. No toxicology or impairment tests? The guy's eyes look like he had tipped a dozen or two beers before getting in vehicle. Hopefully he wasn't insured. And, no, that's not a typo.

Do they bother to clean the road of oil afterwards, or do they let it turn into a skateing rink?

Are these road dividers solid concrete or do they have crumple zones (Impact attenuator) in front of them ?????

These dividers are smashed into every night. Drunken fuckers who can barely walk driving around in 2 ton vehicles. What could go wrong? :facepalm:
