Foreign Man's Body Found Floating Off Riverside, Phnom Penh

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On November 22, 2019, at 7 am, an unidentified foreigner was found dead floating in the river on Preah Sisovath road, Sangkat Psar Kandal, Khan Don Penh, Phnom. It is suspected that the victim killed himself.
The police said the victim was a man, and he was 1.79 meters tall. After receiving the information, the specialist police, the prosecutor, minor crime police of the department of investigation and procedure (Immigration Department), and the autopsist went to the scene to examine the body. The police concluded that the victim died after he hit his head on something.
After the examination, the body was sent to keep at Steung Meanchey pagoda. RIP.

Or more likely, was hit in the head with something. But not by a Khmer, of course.

The Khmer autopsy specialist qualifies as the very top in his profession.
Where else in the world would you get this conclusion: "the victim committed suicide, because he died after he hit his head on something"?
Only in Cambodia, where the autopsy specialists are way better than anywhere else in the world!
And after his 'suicide' the victim of course rolled into the water of the river. All makes perfect sense...

UPDATE: Another Khmer source says that foul play is suspected. More details expected today.
Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: An unidentified foreigner aged about 30 years old, was found dead, floating on the Tonle Sap river, near the popular tourist area of Sisowath Quay in Phnom Penh.
Before the incident, local people near the river saw a body was floating on the river. They reported to the police immediately. The police and local people took the body to the land. The police identified that the victim was a foreigner, but he has yet to be formally identified.
After the examination of the body, the victim's head injury has led police to believe that the victim was murdered a few days ago. The preliminary theory is that the foreign man was attacked and murdered and then and the body was thrown into the river.
The police are presently searching for a murder suspect and looking for the victim's family.

Dumping bodies in rivers never ends well. Go out to the sticks, dig a hole, fill the hole and scarper. If it is not found in 1 month you are 99% home and dry.
