4 Malaysians Arrested for Running and Promoting Online Casino in Phnom Penh

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): The Department of Technology Crime Prevention collaborated with Mr. Seng Heang, the prosecutor of Phnom Penh court, and Khan Chbar Ampov police, in the arrest of 4 Malaysian men on November 5 2019, for running an illegal online casino business.
The police officials confiscated many computers and phones and advertising equipment for the online company.
According to the page of the Department of Technology Crime Prevention, many Cambodians, especially young people, have been using their mobile phones to play illegal online gambling games.
