A 21 year old Swedish tourist/backpacker dies from a drug overdose in Phnom, Phnom Cambodia in Golden Home Guesthouse located on Street 172, a popular backpacker area.
Cambodian police have released his name as "John Kevin Kaya," who entered Cambodia via the Phnom Penh International Airport on December 12.
He rented an $8 a night room in Golden Home Guesthouse on December 13 after only arriving in the kingdom of wonder a day earlier.
The owner of the guesthouse noticed he hadn't come out of his room that day, and when they knocked on his door there was no response, so they unlocked the door and found him dead from an apparent drug overdose (heart attack caused by overdose, to be specific).
They plan to do an autopsy since he died so young and his body is being kept at a pagoda.
