Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On October 24, 2019, at 7:30 pm, Sras Chok police arrested a 51-year-old Vietnamese woman, Chan Bopha, for kidnapping a man in a house on street 86, Sangkat Sras Chok, Khan Don Penh, Phnom Penh. The victim was identified as Hab Sopri, a 25-year-old man.

The police reported that on October 2, at 2 pm, the man rented a motorbike from the Vietnamese woman for 15,000 riels per day. However, the man had no money, so he took the woman's motorbike and sold it for 150,000 riels.
When the woman found the bike renter on October 17, at 03:30 pm, she detained him and locked him in a house on street 86. Then, she called the victim's wife and asked her to pay for all the money back for the stolen motorbike.



After receiving the information from the wife, the police went to the house, released the victim/suspect, and detained the suspect and the victim for questioning.
