Cambodia Breaking News (Sihanoukville): On July 7, 2019, at 16:32, Immigration police in Preah Sihanouk province detained a foreign man at the police station in Village 6, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville, on suspicion of living in Cambodia illegally, without the necessary documentation.


Police say that after inquiry they found that the man, identified as Russian, Dmitri Zhupikov, 33, was stranded in Cambodia without a passport. Immigration police are currently preparing the Russian's case for submission to the General Department of Immigration.

Sihanoukville, Cambodia Breaking news: At 11:30 am on October 25, 2019, police guarding the International Border in cooperation with Lieutenant Colonel Hull Vuthy, Deputy Director of the Office of Investigation and Procedure of the Department of Immigration in Preah Sihanouk Province, deported a Russian national.

Immigration police have said that the foreigner, a 33-year-old Russian male DMITRI ZHUPIKOV, has been expelled from the Kingdom on charges of theft and illegal entry. He was arrested on charges of theft and, when police examined the Russian's documents, was found to be staying in Cambodia illegally. He was therefore deported.

Looks like he's got a new one now - just right for the flight home, but not quite appropriate for his new abode in Siberia.

Gets a little chilly at this time of year - or so I am told.

BTW he left the Immigration Hotel only 4 stars out of 5 on TripAdvisor as he couldn't find a complimentary razor and comb.

We discussed this on another thread, and I think we came to the conclusion that the immigration police have some kind of wardrobe where they keep clothes to dress shirtless barangs for their mugshots.
