Driver Badly Injured in Road Divider Crash and Smash

Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): At 1:30am on December 30, 2022, a man was driving a white Toyota Rally vehicle, with license plate Phnom Penh 2BV-1797, and when he hit a concrete road divider which is located in the middle of Mao Tse Toung Road, Sangkat Tumnup Teuk, Khan Boeung Keng Kang, Phnom Penh.

Before the incident, a Toyota Rally car was seen traveling at high speed along Mao Tse Tung Road, driven by an unidentified man, when it suddenly veered and crashed head-on into the concrete barrier, smashing in the entire front of the vehicle. The driver was badly injured in the accident and taken to hospital for treatment.

After the incident, the local traffic police arrived at the scene to remove the crash vehicle from the road. It will be temporarily stored at the Land Traffic Office of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police to wait for the next legal procedure.

Better the road divider than head on with cars coming the other direction.
