561 Birds Found in Wildlife Shop Raid

Cambodia News (Kandal): On October 11, 2019, the Royal Gendarmerie collaborated with the Wildlife Alliance NGO and Forestry administration in a raid on wildlife trafficking in a house in Spean Dek village, Leuk Dek district, Kandal. The house owner was identified as Van Thorn, 56-years-old.
The police confiscated two snakes, 8 turtles including some juveniles, and 561 birds. All the evidence was sent to keep at the forestry administration.
