Cambodia Breaking News (Sihanoukville): On October 6, 2019, at 8:30 am, an unidentified Chinese man was shot and killed, and the body was thrown out of the car on to the road near Layfor school in Sihanoukville.



Two suspects, one man and one woman, have been arrested so far, and police are searching for a third suspect involved in this case.

Khmer Times says that two men were arrested, but this would not be the first time that they confuse men and women, so we will see what later news brings.
Police are not releasing the identities of suspects or the victim for the moment while they conduct their investigation. At least one other person is being sought according to local news outlets.

Two nabbed over murder in Sihanoukville
Police in Preah Sihanouk province today apprehended two Chinese men in connection with fatally shooting their countryman, a police officer said.

Brigadier General Kol Phally, deputy provincial police chief, said that the shooting occurred at about 8:30 am this morning in Sihanoukville’s Bei commune.

UPDATE: Police have released the identities of the victim and the suspects in the most recent case of a dead Chinese person being dumped out of a car on to the street in Sihanoukville. All those concerned are Chinese nationals.


Sihanoukville: One man and one woman have been apprehended for the murder of WU QINGWEI, 41-years-old, Chinese nationality. The suspects have been identified as DU QIANG Male, 25, Chinese, no occupation or passport, and CHEN MI XIANG Female, 31, Chinese, occupation KTV, passport.


The murder was the result of a bodged kidnapping, where the victim was shot when he put up a struggle. A first shot was fired into the victim's calf, but that did not calm him, and then DU QIANG shot the man through the chest and killed him. The suspects then panicked and dumped the body out of the car into the street.

Both suspects tested positive for drug use, and drugs were found in the car.

Kidnapping seems all to common now in Sihanoukville.

Can't help but think gambling debts are often a motivating factor.

I remember visiting a casino in Sihanoukville and there was a guy with a bag full of money and about 5 other Chinese moving between him and customers.

Loosing money and then borrowing more to chase your loses can backfire big time.

This crime also highlights often the Chinese
in Cambodia are armed. Maybe time for Cambodia to introduce a tough law specific to foriegners carrying any weapon. Punishment starting at 5 years jail.

The Coast has certainly been a magnet for Chinese scum bags.

Well, seems to me you have a culture that's traditionally compulsive, addictive gamblers that goes way back...

They have a no gambling law in their home country and so they do what they want to do (aka gamble) by travelling overseas on holiday. And of course when they do so, they go overboard because of the prohibition back home...

Sounds about as logical as the previous 1 child policy which resulted in their citizens aborting female foetuses and lonely chinamen coming to Cambodia and other asian countries to find wives..

UPDATE: On 11 October, 2019, another suspect has been arrested in Sihanoukville in connection with the murder of Chinese man, WU QINGWEI, who was shot and dumped on to a public road in Sihanoukville on 6 October.

Cambodia Breaking News, Preah Sihanouk:Two more Chinese nationals have been arrested in the case of the gunman who shot and killed a Chinese man in central Sihanoukville on October 6, 2019.

Four Chinese people have now been detained for the murder of WU QINGWEI in Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville, Preah Sihanouk province.
A gun has been seized by police, who are investigating to see if it is the murder weapon. Other arrests may be on the cards.

Sihanoukville: On October 11, 2019, HE Governor Kouch Chamroeun donated 10 million Riels to the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Police, to help finance the increased workload of the Sihanoukville police in maintaining law and order in the city.

These guys - they really don't give a fuck. Who the hell drops a body out of a car on a busy street unless they are trying to put a message out to other debtors( or out of their f@cking minds on ice and ketamine)? It's like they want to be caught.
