Cambodia Breaking News (Kandal): On the evening of September 29, 2019, at 8:30 pm, the Sopheak Meangkol minimart, in Thnol Toteng village,Kandal, was held up at gunpoint. The two victims are a Chinese couple, Chang Cheapor, 23-year-old , and his wife, Fong Chuncheng, 21 years old. The three men involved in the robbery are alleged to be two Chinese nationals and a Cambodian.

The victims told the police that the Chinese woman was closing the shop and her husband was in front of the shop, when suddenly, one of the suspects came into the shop asking for some packet noodles. When the husband went into the shop to assist, another suspect showed up and threatened the victims with a gun. Then another suspect, who was Cambodian, came and tied up the victims. The thieves taped up the victims' mouths, and then cut off the wire of the shop's CCTV security camera, and removed the camera film, taking it with them.
