Vietnamese Gang Arrested on Extortion Charges in Bavet

Cambodia News, Svay Rieng: At 10:20 pm on September 24, 2019, seven Vietnamese men were arrested on charges of extortion and unlawful detention of six Vietnamese nationals, including two women, at the Thai Ang Guesthouse in Bavet city, Svay Rieng province.
Police in Bavet have been very busy arresting foreigners (Vietnamese and Chinese) for kidnapping, theft and extortion these past few days. There seems to be a clean up going on.
