Malaysian Online Gambling Rings Busted in Siem Reap

Cambodia Breaking News (Siem Reap): On September 12, 2019, at 9 pm, the Department of Investigation and Procedure from the Immigration Department of Siem Reap in collaboration with local police, busted two online gambling dens and arrested 13 people - 2 Malaysians,1 Indonesian, and also 10 Cambodian workers, mainly women.
The three foreigners were identified as GAN BOON PENG, 31-year-old Malaysian man, HOO MENG CHONG, 21-year-old Malaysian man, and ALEXANDRA, 18-year-old Indonesian boy. The police confiscated 30 computers.
Mr. Sin Sovanaroth, the judge of Siem Reap court, decided to detain all the suspects at the Siem Reap prison.
