Dead Construction Worker Died From Fall After Drinking

Cambodia Breaking News (Kandal): The body of a construction worker who accidentally fell to his death was discovered on a building site at 6am, August 20, 2019, Takhmao City, Kandal Province.
Police said the victim, identified as Chan, is a 52-year-old male construction worker in Kampong Yon village, Borey Chulsa district, Takeo province.
On the evening of August 19, 2019 at around 9:00 pm, the victim was drinking on the second floor of the construction site, according to Khieu Vateth, a fellow worker at the site. The next morning, on August 20, 2019, at 6:00 am, when he went looking for the victim to have morning coffee, he suddenly found the man lying bloody and silent by the staircase, wearing shorts and shirtless. He called for help, but the victim was already dead, and it seems that he died the night before. The death was then reported to the authorities for investigation.
According to the examination by the Central Provincial Technical Police and the Takhmao crime scene police as well as a medical examination, it was concluded that the victim died from an accidental fall.
