Construction Worker Killed on Sihanoukville Building Site

Sihannoukville, Cambodia News: A construction worker was tragically killed on the spot as he was struck directly on the head when a pile of metal collapsed at a building site in District 4, Sihanoukville. The incident occurred on 8 August 2019.
The victim was identified as Duch Den, a 29-year-old construction worker from Takeo province. His body was taken to Preah Sihanouk Provincial Hospital, waiting for his relatives to take it back to the village for the funeral. RIP.

For the second time this week, it is reported that a Cambodian worker has died as a result of an accident on a Sihanoukville building site.
Sihanoukville, Cambodia Breaking News: At 8am, on 13 August 2019, a 37-year-old male Cambodian worker in District 3, Sihanoukville, died instantly when a cable snapped.
The body has been taken to Sihanoukville Referral Hospital for an autopsy, before returning to the deceased's hometown village in Prey Veng for funeral rites.
