Cambodia Breaking News (Kampong Thom): On July 2, 2019, 11:30 pm, a 38-year-old man, Chun Choeut, died after shooting himself while hunting wildlife in Bahn Chan forest area, Sangvat village, Snakgat Prasat Balang, Kampong Thom.

According to the victim's wife, Khean Bin, 32-year-old, her husband had dinner at 8 pm. After that, he went out hunting wildlife with his three brothers by riding two motorbikes to the forest area. At 11 pm, the three men came back and told her that her husband had died after he accidentally shot himself with his homemade gun. She reported the event to the police immediately.

The police went to the scene to examine the body and determined that the victim shot himself in his chest and died immediately. The body was taken to prepare for the funeral.

Back in my junkie days I had a mate that accidentally shot himself. He'd keep two sets of syringes filled with speed and smack in his fridge for use, they separated on different shelves to be had depending on his mood. I went around to pick him up for a night out on the town once when he fixed himself from the wrong shelf before us leaving, he shot himself with smack instead of speed. It's no fun in the club when you're flying and your pal's on the nod.
