Drug Addict Burns Parents' House Down

Battambang, Cambodia News: A man was arrested for arson after he set fire to a private home at 12:10 am on June 6, 2019 at Group 7, Phum Palak Village, Chrey Commune, Thmor Kol District, Battambang Province.
Police say that Yen Saro, 33, who had a drug crisis, tried to burn down the house, while his parents, Nguon Hang, a 64-year-old man, and his wife, Un Nakry, 62, were still inside. The people were safe, but the house burnt down completely destroying household items worth about $ 4,500, and the old couple lost everything in the fire.
