Old Man Dies in Bicycle Accident After One Too Many

Pursat, Cambodia News: An elderly man was found dead after he cycled home drunk from a meal in his village. This incident occurred on the night of May 11, 2019, at the border of Boeung Khna commune border and Khant Trapei commune, Bakan district, Pursat province.
The victim was identified as 58-year-old Nop Saren. The victim's wife said that in the evening her husband went to eat and drink in the village, but on his way home he drove off the road into a storm drain and died. Witnesses in the village said that the victim was drunk when he took his bicycle to return home.
His body was recovered by some local lads who found him in the drain by the roadside the next morning and called the police. RIP.
