Man Arrested for Attacking Car

Banteay Meanchey, Cambodia News: On April 12, 2019, at 5:15 pm at Poipet City, Banteay Meanchey, a man was arrested after a complaint was filed with police for smashing a car. The victim, 28-year-old Vann, said he heard loud noises outside his house and went to see what was happening, and he found the suspect throwing stones at his car.
After questioning, Yoeun Sopheak, a 32-year-old suspect confessed that he had smashed the vehicle because it belonged to his brother-in-law. He said that he was angry with his family, and after using drugs he became even more angry.
The suspect has been charged with intentionally damaging another's property and using illicit drugs.
