A foreign male, maybe around 25 years old, was caught on CCTV security cameras stealing a motorbike from a fellow expat in Phnom Penh. The videos, which were taken from 2 angles of different CCTV security cameras, show a foreigner in a black Boss t-shirt, blue shorts, and flip-flops checking out a motorbike, which he appears to point out to his possible accomplice, then getting on it, making an Oscars-nominated fake call before taking off on the stolen motorbike before disappearing.

This footage was sent to CEO in the hopes that someone in the community would recognize this thief in Phnom Penh. As of right now, he's unidentified, and although he's wearing sunglasses in the video, it seems likely that someone would recognize him. This robbery happened today (March 27, 2019) on Street 13 near the National Museum in Phnom Penh at 1:30 PM. It is a black and red Honda Airblade with Kampong Cham license plates (1C-0266) on it. It would be great if either or both of these men are identified.

I'm going to guess he's staying at a hostel and has turned to a life of crime to extend his holiday. If that doesn't work, he'll start beg-packing.

If you can’t make enough as a TEFLer in Cambodia maybe go to the Middle East and save up TEFLing there.

Or just steal motorbikes. :voilent1:

If they were better they wouldn't be so sick
and if they weren't so sick they would be better.

Have toyed with the idea of installing a device that expels an indelible powder over the thief when the bike is taken. Would love to bitch slap these two, same goes for bag snatchers.

Not too difficult to set up, the tech already exists in the west with some banks using dye to stain the banknotes.
