Chinese Man Found Dead at Suryavara Boutique Hotel, Siem Reap

Siem Reap, Cambodia News: On March 25, 2019, a 68-year-old Chinese man, GAO YONGYAN, was found dead in room no. 401, at Suryavara Boutique Hotel, in Siem Reap. The victim arrived in Cambodia as a tourist through Siem Reap Airport.

After having dinner, the victim went to his room until at 2 am, the hotel staff reported to the Chinese tour leader that the victim was unwell. When the tour leader arrived at the victim's room, he found the man unconscious and sent him to the hospital immediately. However, he died on the way to the hospital.

According to the examination by the specialist police, the victim died of a heart attack. The body was sent to keep at Stueng Meanchey pagoda waiting for the decision of the victim's family and the embassy.
