Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: The Department of investigation and procedure of the Cambodian Immigration Department, arrested a 22-year-old Chinese national, WU YUANMIN, on March 18, 2019, at 12:30 pm, Khan Don Penh, Phnom Penh, for not having a passport.

The police said the Chinese man came to Cambodia on September 20, 2018, through Phnom Penh international Airport. He went to work in Sihanoukville, and then he came to Phnom Penh and stayed in Naga World Hotel and Casino.
After that, he downsized, moving into a cheaper guesthouse, and he says he was pickpocketed and lost his passport, and when he ran out of money he went to file a complaint with police on March 18, 2019. It is not clear whether the passport and money losses were due to gambling debts.

However, since the man had no place to stay, no money, and no passport, he was detained and sent to the Immigration Department.

Maybe his passport and money got given up for gambling debts.Thats still illegal, but that's the way the dice roll. Don't play if you can't pay.
