Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: A 30-year-old man, Choeun Veasna, was arrested after sneaking into a house where a wedding party was taking place to steal about US$2,500 worth of jewelry, on street 351, Khan Toulkok, Phnom Penh.

The victim was identified as Hout Chanrotha, a 34-year-old man, a worker at Metphone company. The suspect was detained at Khan Toul Kok police station to be charged with theft following the legal procedure.

Sadly this is not uncommon. A friedn had a party to celebrate completion of her house. there were 2 other parties in the village that night and needless to say everyone was passed out. A thief robbed every house and was only spotted when he tried to remove a gold necklace for a lady who was not quite as far gone as the others. She recognised him but he rana very long way.
