Bangkok to europe flights cancelled

On BBC news now thai airways has cancelled all european flights due to situation between pakistan and india.
Expect high prices on other carriers not overflying the danger zone

At mo they can still be booked online on some sites. this could be good. they will have to reroute you at a time and route to suit you, but you will not get any compensation under EU261 because this really is beyone their control.

Where almost 300 people died because the airline wanted to save a few bucks....

Disaster. i have to go to europe next week.
Via china or india looks best option but priced are going to be mental and flights longer

You could still try via Middle East, or Hong Kong. Those all overfly different areas.

You could still try via Middle East, or Hong Kong. Those all overfly different areas.
You cannot get to the middle east from here without overflying pakistan. Roiutes via china are ok, they use chinese airspce. Read the BBC story. Other airlines are rerouting around but tta means fliybs over iran and extra refuelling stops for scoot which goes non stop to athens fro sgn

Weird that they close the whole pakistani airspace and the indian is operating normally except for kashmir.
I mean Karachi is like 1500km away from the area where they are fighting.
