11 Drug Squad Officers Detained in Phnom Penh for Irregularities

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On the evening of February 24, 2019, a two star policeman working at the Anti-Drug Department of Phnom Penh National Police , was arrested along with other ten police officers, in Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.
The operation was led by Mr. Sok Penhvuth, Khan Don Penh governor, and Mr. Tea Chansa, the inspector and commander of the Royal Gendarmerie.
The authorities detained the drug squad officers because of irregularities in their procedures when cracking down on suspects during drug raids, and for lack of cooperation with the authority base. The officers have not yet been publicly identified.

Just a point of order.
Excluding any holiday or festive celebration.
In the course of normal everyday life, should you ever encounter a Khmer male, like the gentleman on the right, wearing a classic button down, untucked, straight hemmed, bright colored, monochrome, tailored shirt chances are 7/10 you're dealing with a governmental Bong Thom of some sort.
Those gents trump any uniformed Khmer, hands down.
