Old Man Asks for Dowry Refund After His 17yo Wife Leaves

Siem Reap, Cambodia News: A 53-year-old man, Soth Ouksa, filed a complaint on February 09, 2019,to request a dowry refund of US$6000 from his 17-year-old wife who left him.
According to an old man, he married his young wife, Chan Sotheary, in March 2018, but they didn't get on together and they argued with each other every day. Then his wife left home without telling him, so he decided to file a complaint to ask for the dowry to be refunded.
The father of his wife said that he didn't know much about the complaint, as he was busy recently. He added that if his daughter wasn't happy, she could leave her husband, and he wouldn't force her to do anything.

my gf's sister married a local guy, he paid $3,000 dowry, after a week she went back home and had to pay him back the $3,000

Who would have expected him to have a $6000 dowry refund at the top of his to do list?

Look, let's face it....forget about the age gap...it's just a case of poor personal hygiene which caused them to argue daily. Now being an older dude, he's a bit set in his ways..sorta like trying to teach an old dog new tricks..and he just doesn't wanna use deodorant.
No wonder the girl wants out..
