Prisoner Escapes From Prey Sar Prison

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: A report this morning says that at 11:25 am today, 31 January 2019, a prisoner named Kem Mao made a fast getaway and escaped from Prey Sar prison while being chased by police. Details to follow.

Well done Kem. Not an easy place to escape from but if one were a savvy Khmer maybe not so difficult. Read a great book years ago about the Pom who escaped in Bangkok. He was in Singapore before the real hunt began because there was so much loss of face.
There was another book about the IRA man who assisted the Russian spy to escape from Wormwood Scrubs. They both went through Checkpoint Charlie hidden in Kombi vans.
