BREAKING NEWS: Singer Khemarak Srey Pov, died of lung and kidney disease at a hospital in India
January 25, 2019
(Phnom Penh): Singer Khemarak Srey Pov, the sister of singer Khemarak Sereymon, died a few hours ago at a hospital in India and her body will be sent home for the funeral rites, Sreymon’s family told the Fresh News Network on the 25th of January, 2019.

Khemarak Sreymon’s family confirmed that Khemara Srey Pov had been suffering from chronic pneumonia and kidney disease for a long time, so the family decided to send her for medical treatment in India, but unfortunately, the doctors there could not save her life.

India seems a funny place to send someone from Cambodia for medical treatment .

Anyone have her most popular songs.

I thought so too. I wonder how well-to-do Cambodians choose where to go, maybe it's just monetary. Seems like the popular choices are Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore and India.

A neighbor of ours disappeared for a few months last year. Come to find he went to India because of some liver trouble. When he came back, an Indian gentlemen came with him and stayed with the family for a month or so. They said he was just there to make various teas and tinctures.

It was quite humorous though, seeing their family walk around with this towering Indian fellow, with a most lush, jet black, walrus mustache.

Very sad news this, My nickname in Cambodia is Khemarak due to her brother (also the famous singer)

i love her songs because they often have a traditionally Asian sound using Asian pipes/stringed instruments
here are some of her most popular/my favourite songs...

Stop being obtuse Jamie.

Why the fuck would your nickname in Cambodia be Khemarak?

You say it is due to Srey Pov's brother Khemarak Sereymon.

What the fuck does that mean? Why is that your nickname? To state that without any explanation is odd.

Really like the instruments, whatever they are. Thanks for that, Jamie.

But what a sad story. India is a medical destination for foreigners but at a cheaper rate than Thailand. But seems to me she should have gone to a Thai hospital.
