Delivery Truck Crashes into Phnom Penh International Airport Shuttle Train

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On January 18, 2019, a delivery truck drove into the Phnom Penh International Airport shuttle train causing serious damage to the truck in Kbal Domrey village, Sangkat Katap1, Khan Porsenchey, Phnom Penh.
The incident occurred when a Hyundai truck delivery plate no. Svay Reing 3A0834 drove across the railway tracks smack into the train which was transporting people to Phnom Penh International airport. Fortunately, there was nobody injured.
There is no further information for the present time on the circumstances of the accident, and whether or not the train gave due warning when it approached the crossing.
The truck driver ran away from the accident scene and the truck was impounded by police. The responsibility for the accident will be sorted out by the police, the truck owner, and a representative of the train company.
