Woman Brutally Murdered and Robbed of $40,000

Kandal, Cambodia News: On January 14, 2019, a 56-year-old woman, Chhun Tou, was murdered and robbed of about US$40,000, when thieves broke into the house she shared with her husband in Beung village, Kandal Steung district, Kandal.
The victim's husband had been out at the hairdresser when he returned home to find the door open. He called for his wife, and after searching the house, he found her lying dead on the floor. The man called his neighbors for help, and they discovered that the safe was open and had been emptied of money and gold. The victim lost about $30,000, 2 million Riels, and some gold.
The police are on the hunt for the killer or killers.

this would be a great reason to start keeping your money in the bank.

The (probably) 60-70 year old husband were getting pretty at the hair dresser when his wife got killed for 40k usd.....?????
To good to be true for a husband who want some cash and a young girl. I bet he will hang around alot in the ktvs now (if they are/were open).
