Man Threatens to Jump from Down Town Mall Building Site, Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: At 9 am on December 27, 2018, a dramatic event occurred when an unidentified man entered the construction site of the Down Town Mall building on Monivong Bvd, and climbed up on the scaffolding, threatening to jump and kill himself.
The incident took the site security guards and police by surprise. The man said only that he wanted to die, but eventually he was talked down. It is believed that he had been taking drugs.
