Happened to see a live video on fb of a guy following a firetruck. Seems pretty bad.. location could be old market area. Anyone know anything more??

Just saw fire engines going past Kandal Market and heading for Sisowath Quay and possibly Old Market area.

Smoke seems to be coming from st 19 towards st 110 area

The word going around Riverside is the fire is on St. 118 near the Old Market.

Phnom Penh: This evening, December 15, 2018, a fire broke out in a residential area near the Old Market adjoining Daun Penh district.

Phnom Penh: The fire was declared at 6pm and broke out on the 4th floor of a building located near Phsar Kandal, Daun Penh district.The fire fighters are at the scene.

Yes, it was corner Streets 118 and 15, virtually opposite my place. I wasn't home but got alerted to it in time to return and see the fire being put out, and all the rooftop shacks destroyed. A lot of people who didn't have much to begin with just lost everything they had. I only hope everyone got out alive. I feel devastated just witnessing this. Horrific.
