Plane Crash Emergency Drill Held at Sihanoukville Airport

Sihanoukville, Cambodia News: Preah Sihanouk provincial police chief Major General Choun Narin has denied rumors of a plane crash at Sihanoukville International Airport, explaining that on November 30, 2018, Sihanoukville International Airport conducted a 2018 Emergency Management Exercise.
The drill is aimed at training local authorities and related agencies to experience survival experience in the event of a catastrophic accident occurring in or around Sihanoukville International Airport. Tires were burnt to create realistic conditions for the emergency teams.
