American JASON CURTIS Detained for Disturbing the Peace with No Passport

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On February 16, the Department of Investigations and Procedures of Immigration at the Phnom Penh Police Station received an American man, JASON CURTIS, 35 years old, at Psar Kandal police post for disturbances in public and having no passport.

After questioning, they found out that the American man came to visit Cambodia frequently as a tourist, and the last time he entered was on February 02, 2019, through Phnom Penh International Airport.

JASON CURTIS was detained and sent to the immigration department to follow legal procedures.

Last time he entered according to the report in the first post was 02nd Feb 2019, therefore he's not an overstayer. These reports always lack any real detail.

He was obviously arrested for whatever he done to disturb the peace, not for overstay or no passport, his passport could be locked up safely in his guesthouse or at the DoI obtaining an EOS...most sensible people don't actually carry their physical passport around with them when out and about, especially when out drinking and disturbing the peace.
