Massage Shop Raided: Five Underage Girls were Sold for Sex

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On November 19, 2018, the police cracked down on the Vanny Rekreay massage shop, which was offering sexual services provided by underage girls, on street 217, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh.
The police raid was led by the Lieutenant Sor Thet, police chief at Phnom Penh police station, and was coordinated by Mr. Kuch Kimlong, the prosecutor at Phnom Penh court, on the orders of Lieutenant Chan Ketekhom, director in charge of human trafficking and protection of minors .
Five young girls aged from 14 to 16 years old were found working in the massage parlor, giving massages for $20 to $25 to customers, including sex, from 10am to 2am each day.
Six people were detained in all by the police: the massage shop owner, Hout Vanny, 36-years-old, and the five young victims. They were all sent to the department of human trafficking and minor protection for questioning.
