Sihanoukville, Cambodia News: A 25-year-old Chinese woman, ZHANG QI, working at White Sand Hotel, got her phone snatched by two thieves on November 11 at 07:50 pm, in front of Pizza Company restaurant at Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.

Two men on a motorbike rode up past the victim's motorbike in the classic phone-snatching style, grabbing the phone from the woman who was riding on a motorbike behind her friend, before driving off.

After receiving the complaint from the Chinese woman, the police searched for the suspects, and arrested them near the Royal (Occheutel ?) area. The police confiscated an iPhone X, US $36, and a motorbike.

The suspects confessed to the crime and the case has been prepared for court.

Was she Cambodian or Chinese?

My guess is she's Chinese.

Sometimes when the Cambodian newspapers say someone is Chinese they mean ethnic Chinese.

I am surprised how quickly the police seem to catch the thieves in most cases
