Cambodian Officer Jumps From National Defense University Building

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On 30 October, 2018, a 47-year-old colonel committed suicide by jumping from the second floor of the National Defense University building located at Sangkat Russey Keo, Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh. The victim, named only as Riri, was studying for his bachelors degree at the university. Nobody knows the motive for his act. RIP

Further information says that the deceased was in the habit of drinking heavily, and that he was probably drunk when he jumped at around midnight. He was studying for a Psychology degree. No information on a possible motive.

I am assuming they are counting floors the European way: ground floor, first floor, second floor. That would mean a height of what, 6 meters? Plenty to kill yourself.

Actually the first, if the photo is correct. That should only be a fractured pelvis. Guess he went over head first?
